There is a new TV show that depicts a young man’s life if he took different paths. Three parallel lives. Have you ever thought about where you’d be If you chose differently, either after high school or college? In most cases, we can’t go back and make those changes because we have been living life all this time. However, you can make choices today. We can choose our clothing, the food we eat, and how we talk with family members or friends.
Most of us don’t think too much about the little choices, but they do impact us and others. Even big ones, like returning to college, moving your household to another state, or even overseas makes a big impact on your life. Sometimes we receive detours and other than road closings aren’t sure why we have to deviate from the path we’ve chosen. Look up. God may be offering you another direction so you can bless others. Yes, he gives us free will to decline.
On another TV show, a half-hour comedy, where the mother is very religious and is trying to guide her family to God. No one answers the question about “Why does God let bad things happen?” The discussion led to “Why believe in Him? Duh!
The heroine in the second book I’m working on needs to make choices, one is a little risky for her, but you’ll see how she handles it when the book is published. It only has a working title for now, “Natalie’s Cowboy.”
My current manuscript (and first book) is under my editor’s scrutiny so I can give you the best of what I want to convey.
In the meantime, I’d like to recommend to you romance readers the book called “The Hammond Brothers.” Excellent writing about three billionaire cowboys who are believers. The author is Liz Isaacson.
I hope October brings you apple cider, colorful trees, pumpkin treats, and children’s laughter while they Trick or Treat.
